This page explains what personal information GoodinSolar collects from people who contact us through this website, what we do with it, and how you can see or delete it.
What we collect
When you submit the quote form we store your name, phone number, province and area, the main problem you want solved, the number of panes or approximate area, the film you are interested in, and any note you write yourself.
If you open the form through LINE, we also store your LINE user ID and LINE display name so the team can reply in the same chat.
We do not collect national ID numbers, card details, or any other sensitive data on this website.
What we use it for
Only to call you back, work out a rough price, arrange a site measurement, and support the job after installation.
Prices the site calculates are estimates — the final price is confirmed after we measure on site — so we need a way to reach you.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your details to anyone for marketing.
Where it is stored and who can see it
Quote requests are saved in our database hosted by Supabase and emailed to the shop. Only the owner and team members with an admin password can read them.
We keep the information for as long as the job and its warranty need it. If you ask us to delete it, we will.
Cookies and embedded content
This website uses no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Videos on the learn page are embedded from Facebook but only start loading once you press play, so nothing is sent to Facebook before then.
Use of the YouTube API and the shop Google account
The shop runs an internal tool built on YouTube API Services to manage GoodinSolar's own YouTube channel — viewing statistics, managing video details, and reading comments.
The tool only reaches data on the channel the shop owns, authorised with the shop's own Google account. It does not touch any visitor's Google account or YouTube data.
Access tokens are stored on the shop's own computer, are never passed to third parties, and the account owner can revoke them at any time from their Google account permissions page.

You may ask to see, correct, or delete the information we hold by contacting the shop at the email address or phone number shown in the contact bar on every page.
If this policy changes, we will update the date shown at the top of this page.
